United Gamers Network is a Multi Gaming Community. We are casual gamers that play video games and have fun with friends in Teamspeak while doing so. Please feel free to register with the website (which is free) and join us in the forums and online having fun. There are also flash games within the site for you to enjoy as well. You can also join our online community in a more official manner by posting in our recruitment forum. Once you become a Community/Clan member you can wear the -=UGN=- tags in game to show our alliance as a community.
We always have a Teamspeak server up and running which you can see through our website. You can join that server by clicking on the channel in that block. We don't focus on one game forever, there are far too many games that come that we enjoy to play as well. We do however run different game servers from time to time so make sure to always check the website for server info.
Current Games Played:
Modern Warfare 2, COD4, World at War, Team Fortress 2, Battlefield 2, LFD2, Grid, NFSS, Borderlands, Age of Empires, Company of Hero's, World of Warcraft
As with any online community/clan we rely on financial support from our friends and members to keep the website and servers going all the time so please feel free to donate. Please join our community and we will see you online!

Nvidia 196.75 GPU Drivers Bugged, Causing Fans To Fail, Cards To Overheat
Mar 05, 2010 at 1:04 AM
A rather serious bug has been discovered in the recently released Nvidia 196.75 GPU drivers. So serious in fact, that it could cause your graphics card to be permanently damaged. As such, I'll put the warning in bold: downgrade immediately to the 196.21 drivers unless you want your GPU fans to slow to a crawl or stop altogether, causing your shiny, expensive video card to overheat and possibly suffer a permanent hardware failure.
Here's Nvidia's official statement, along with an extra warning from Blizzard:
We are aware that some customers have reported fan speed issues with the latest 196.75 WHQL drivers on NVIDIA.com. Until we can verify and root cause this issue, we recommend that customers stay with, or return to 196.21 WHQL drivers. Release 196.75 drivers have been temporarily removed from our Web site in the meantime.

We're getting reports where users are getting intermittent low FPS after installing these drivers. It seems that it is related to the fan control included in these drivers not working correctly and is causing the video card to overheat on 3D applications. This will affect Warcraft 3, World of Warcraft and StarCraft 2 Beta. Please uninstall the drivers and revert back to the older ones.
